Buying and selling at the same time?
Timing two moves is one of the hardest parts of real estate. We’ll plan the sequence: sell first, buy first, or line up both closings on the same day, with options like rent-backs and bridge financing.
Thinking of renting it instead?
If you’re moving but want to keep the home as an investment, Hurd About Real Estate can estimate the rent and manage the property for you.
Common questions
How do you decide the list price?
Misty studies recent sales, active and pending listings, and the features that matter most to buyers in your neighborhood. The goal is a price that attracts strong interest without leaving money on the table.
What costs should sellers expect?
Common costs include brokerage commission, the loan payoff, attorney fees, any agreed repairs or credits, and North Carolina’s excise tax on the deed ($1 per $500 of the sale price). South Carolina has its own deed recording fee.
Should I make repairs before listing?
Often a few targeted repairs and a deep clean pay off more than a big renovation. Misty will recommend what’s worth doing for your home and market.
How long will it take to sell?
It depends on price, condition and season. You’ll get the current days-on-market figures for your neighborhood during the consultation.
